About the Role
As a Producer / Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for generating new business, advising clients on appropriate coverage, and maintaining strong long-term relationships across our personal and commercial lines portfolio. You will work closely with our service team, marketing team, and carrier partners to provide tailored insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, quote, and close new personal and commercial insurance policies
- Conduct thorough needs analyses for prospective and existing clients
- Build and maintain a referral pipeline through networking, community involvement, and partner relationships
- Present coverage options clearly, explaining benefits, exclusions, and pricing
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth onboarding and renewals
- Maintain accurate records in our agency management system
- Stay current on carrier appointments, products, underwriting guidelines, and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Property & Casualty license required (Life & Health a plus)
- 1+ years of insurance sales experience preferred (will consider strong sales backgrounds with willingness to obtain licensure)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using CRMs, agency management systems, and digital quoting tools
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
